Fundraiser Launched for Jeff Pendergraft After Devastating Motorcycle Accident in Castle Rock, Colorado

Castle Rock, Colorado – A fundraiser has been organized by Lexi and Josh Pendergraft to support their father, Jeff Pendergraft, who suffered life-altering injuries in a severe motorcycle accident on September 16, 2024. The accident resulted in multiple fractures and a severe stroke, leaving Jeff in a medically induced coma as doctors work to stabilize his condition.

Jeff Pendergraft, known for his vibrant personality and love for outdoor activities, faces a long road to recovery. His injuries include a broken femur, shattered hip and pelvis, multiple fractures in his left leg and arm, broken ribs, and a damaged collarbone. After being airlifted to the hospital, doctors discovered injuries to the vessels in his neck, which led to a stroke. The full extent of the brain damage will not be known until the swelling in his brain decreases.

Lexi and Josh, Jeff’s children, have set up a fundraiser to cover the extensive medical expenses, which are already mounting into hundreds of thousands of dollars. The goal is to raise at least $200,000 to support his immediate care, including surgeries and long-term rehabilitation.

“Jeff is the most amazing person we know,” said his children in the fundraiser description. “He’s always been there for everyone, and now we need help to be there for him.”

The fundraiser has already raised over $12,000 from 101 donations. The top donation of $1,000 was made by Jennifer Volz, while Becca Teeter contributed a recent donation of $100. Supporters are encouraged to donate or share the campaign to help Jeff receive the necessary treatment.

Jeff Pendergraft is described by his family as a devoted father, a dedicated son to his mother, Cookie Pendergraft, and a loving brother to Steve Pendergraft. Born and raised in Texas, Jeff moved to Colorado, where he embraced his passion for skiing and the mountains. His positive outlook and generosity have touched many lives, and his family hopes the community can come together to support him in this critical time.

“We’re in the fight of our lives to save our dad,” Lexi and Josh stated, expressing their gratitude for the outpouring of support.

To contribute to Jeff’s recovery, donations can be made through the fundraiser organized by his family. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings them closer to their goal and offers hope for Jeff’s long journey ahead.
