Red Lake Nation, Minnesota – A fundraising campaign has been set up to cover the costs of the wake and funeral services for Elizabeth Norcross. The event will take place on her reservation, Red Lake Nation, with the goal of raising $3,000 to support these expenses.
Organized by Brandee Jourdain on behalf of Phyllis Norcross, Elizabeth’s oldest sister, the fundraiser has so far collected $225 from four donations. The funds will help with food for the potluck feast and other service-related costs. Donations can be made directly through the GoFundMe page, where contributors are also encouraged to assist with food orders if unable to attend the services in person.
The campaign highlights the importance of community support during this time, reflecting the collective effort to honor Elizabeth Norcross’s memory with a respectful and well-attended farewell.
