Fred Savoy, a cherished and dedicated member of the Hewlett community, has sadly passed away. The announcement of his death was shared on social media by Nochem Rivkie Tenenboim, who expressed deep sorrow at the loss of their "very dear friend."
Fred’s funeral is set to take place at New Montefiore Cemetery, located at 1180 Wellwood Ave in West Babylon, on Friday, September 13th at 11:30 am. Shiva will be observed on the same day from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and on Saturday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at his residence, 1554 Hewlett Heath Road. A memorial service in his honor will be held at the Chabad of Hewlett during the Songs of Hope event, where friends and loved ones will gather to share memories and stories celebrating Fred’s life.
