Fort Mohave Resident JoAnn Price Passes Away at Age 78, Leaving a Legacy of Love and Family

Fort Mohave, AZ – JoAnn Frances Price, a cherished resident of Fort Mohave, Arizona, has passed away at the age of 78. She died on Monday, August 26, 2024, after enduring a challenging final year, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on August 20, 1946, in Bristol, Virginia, JoAnn was the eldest of five siblings. Following her parents’ divorce, she took on significant responsibilities to care for her younger siblings while her single mother worked. Later, her mother’s remarriage brought more siblings into JoAnn’s life, and family trips became cherished memories.

JoAnn graduated from Lawndale High School in California in 1964, where she met her future husband, Arnold. The two were inseparable after their marriage on April 17, 1965, enjoying nearly six decades of love and companionship.

In 1971, JoAnn and Arnold moved to Bullhead City, Arizona, where they ran a successful cabinet business. JoAnn also worked as a real estate agent, helping many find their "forever homes."

A devoted member of her faith, JoAnn was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974. Her faith remained a cornerstone of her life, especially after the tragic loss of her son David in 1996. JoAnn found solace in her spiritual community and in the presence of her grandchildren, Tyler and Kali, and her great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Kamryn, and Karter.

JoAnn will be remembered not only for her love and dedication to her family but also for her adventurous spirit. Even in her final days, she was seen riding a jet ski, showing her enduring zest for life.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fort Mohave, Arizona. The service will also be available via Zoom for those unable to attend in person.

JoAnn is survived by her husband, Arnold, her daughter Christina, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her son David and other close relatives.

Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family and community.
