Francis “Frank” Nicholas LaSarso, a well-known figure from Fort Edward, has passed away at the age of 91. LaSarso died at his home on Monday, September 9, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1933, in Fort Edward to Michael LaSarso Sr. and Maria (Bavaro) LaSarso.
LaSarso, a Fort Edward High School alumnus from the class of 1952, was remembered fondly by those who knew him. Elizabeth Vroman O’Leary shared a touching memory: “What a sweet man. He brought me a plant when I worked at Town Hall.” Belair Dorothy also paid tribute, stating, “What a wonderful man.”
Frank LaSarso’s passing marks the end of a long and impactful life in the Fort Edward community. His legacy is cherished by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
