Former Andhra Bank Manager V Sudhakar Rao Passes Away After Battle with Lung Cancer

V Sudhakar Rao, a retired manager from the erstwhile Andhra Bank, has passed away at the age of 68. Rao, who retired from the Saligramam Branch in Chennai in November 2014, succumbed to lung cancer on September 6, 2024, in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

During his illustrious career, Rao worked across several branches including Tatipaka, Vijayawada, Nellore, Godavarikhani, Peddapalli, Mowbrays Road (Chennai), Madurai, Valasaravakkam (Chennai), and Saligramam (Chennai). His service was noted for its dedication and commitment to the banking sector.

The mourning ceremony, known as Pedda Karma, will be held at his residence in Mulapet, Nellore, on September 18, 2024.

Colleagues and friends have expressed their condolences on social media. Harry Morgan shared, "We both worked at Godavarikhani." Kama Raju posted, "Om Shanti," while Ramakrishna Kavuri added, "Vishnu Vishnu Vishnu." Malini Rao commented, "May his soul rest in peace," and Maddi Bala Krishna Rao wrote, "R I P."

V Sudhakar Rao’s contributions to the banking industry and the many lives he touched throughout his career will be fondly remembered.
