Filipino CAFGU Member Jinhel Toguin-Yufan Passes Away After Battling Colon Cancer

Jinhel Toguin-Yufan, a dedicated member of the CAFGU Active Auxiliaries (CAAs) for over a decade, has passed away on September 6, 2024, following a courageous battle with colon cancer. Toguin-Yufan, who served in the auxiliary forces for 11 years, left behind six children and was accompanied to his final resting place by his fellow comrades, including Army Officer T/SGT Barlan.

In a poignant tribute, Toguin-Yufan’s comrades solemnly presented the Philippine flag to his grieving wife, symbolizing their unwavering commitment and respect.

Ener Toguin expressed his deep sorrow, saying, “Band of Brothers – leave no one behind, even in death. Salute to you pinsan! You are forever alive in my heart.”

Tributes and condolences have been pouring in from those who knew him and admired his service. His legacy of dedication and bravery will be remembered by all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
