Sandston, Virginia – Curtis Burgdrof and his family are grappling with the unexpected death of his aunt, who passed away on September 7th, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. This sudden loss has placed an immense financial burden on the family as they work to cover the costs of cremation and a memorial service.

The fundraising campaign, organized by Briuana McCauley, has been set up to assist with these expenses. As of September 13th, 2024, the campaign has raised $1,210 of its $10,000 goal, with contributions from 22 donors. The funds will directly support Curtis Burgdrof and his family during this challenging time, helping them navigate the financial implications of this tragedy.

Briuana McCauley, who initiated the fundraiser, highlighted the family’s situation, stating that the deceased did not have life insurance. She emphasized that the donations will be used to cover the costs associated with the memorial and to provide financial relief to Burgdrof and his children.

The campaign has garnered support from various donors, including Troy Daniels, who contributed $50, and Regina Newby, who gave $20.
