Elizabeth Blundin-Richter of Folcroft, PA, Passes Away at Age 69 – A Life of Compassion and Family Remembered

Folcroft, PA – Elizabeth "Beth" Blundin-Richter, a beloved 69-year-old resident of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Beth was born in Darby, PA, and was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Sara Blundin. A proud graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School, Class of 1972, Beth spent her life deeply committed to family, friends, and animals.

Growing up as one of nine siblings, Beth was known for her strong sense of family. She treasured the weekly dinners she shared with her siblings and was passionate about creating joyful memories with her family. Her love for animals was equally profound, and she provided a caring home to many pets throughout her life.

Beth enjoyed time near the water, frequently taking trips to Atlantic City and sailing with her brother Brian. She also worked for 45 years at Acme, where she made numerous friendships and met her beloved husband, Walter Richter.

Beth is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Walter Richter; her children, Kevin Archer and Kelly Boone; and her stepchildren, Daniel and Shannon Richter. She was the loving grandmother to Dylan, Chase, and Isabel Archer; Connor, Arric, Dain, Kate, Ekatarina Richter; and Caroline, Gabriella, and Natalia Kunze. Beth’s family and friends were the center of her world, and she will be remembered for her compassion and dedication to them.

A visitation in Beth’s honor will be held on Thursday, September 19, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Contributions in Beth’s memory can be made to the Providence Animal Center in Media, PA, in recognition of her lifelong love for animals.

Kevin Archer, Beth’s son, expressed his sorrow, writing, "My mom, Elizabeth Blundin Richter passed away peacefully on Saturday. I can’t put into words how much I will miss her, but I can hear her saying, ‘it will be ok.’"
