Eli Woodward of Strawberry, Arkansas, Dies After Tragic Motorcycle Accident in Columbia, Missouri

Strawberry, Arkansas – Eli Woodward, a 2021 graduate of Hillcrest High School, tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident on September 16, 2024. The accident occurred in Columbia, Missouri, where Eli was rushed to the hospital after sustaining severe injuries. Despite the medical efforts, he sadly did not survive.

Eli, the son of Jeremy and Julie Woodward, was a beloved member of the community and is survived by his siblings John and Abigail. His death has sent waves of grief through his hometown of Strawberry and beyond, with friends, family, and loved ones expressing their heartbreak.

The Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church shared a message about Eli on social media, stating, “We have lost a good man tonight. I am asking for prayer for those that love Eli. The days ahead will be difficult for so many. The young man will be missed. Again, lift prayers for those that love him. We pray God that you will just wrap your loving arms around them during this time.”

Several people have shared their thoughts and prayers for Eli and his family on Facebook. Serenity Kelly Davis wrote, “Two of our children have been hurting for days now after losing an amazing young man who was a brother in their eyes and they loved him dearly. Please keep the Eli Woodward family… in your prayers as they lay a son, brother, companion, and friend to rest this weekend.”
