Elbert Marshal Barber, Beloved Mechanic and Community Figure, Passes Away at 84

Elbert Marshal Barber, 84, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Elliott Nursing and Rehab Center in Sandy Hook. Born on December 26, 1939, in Grayson, he was the son of the late James “Steve” and Dolly Shepherd Barber. Elbert was known for his mechanical skills and was highly respected in his community.

Friends and family took to social media to express their condolences. Robin Webb shared, "The best mechanic and great guy. Love to the family." Similarly, Eunice Hall reminisced about Elbert, saying, “I’m so very sorry to hear of Elbert’s passing. I have many fond memories as a child being around him & Bonnie Lou.”
