Dr. Adam T. Williams of Landisburg, PA Passes Away at 47 After Battling Cancer

Landisburg, PA – Dr. Adam T. Williams, a beloved pastor and community member from Landisburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2024, at the age of 47. His death follows a courageous four-year battle with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer. He was surrounded by his family as he entered into the presence of his Lord.

Born on February 11, 1977, in Harrisburg, PA, Adam Williams was the cherished son of Edward “Ted” Williams and the late Ronda E. Williams. He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Shree L. Williams, and their three sons: Noah, Aiden, and Gavin. Adam’s family was his greatest pride and joy.

Dr. Williams’ life was marked by faith, service, and dedication to his family and community. He served as a volunteer fireman in his youth and played football at West Perry High School, where he graduated in 1995. His journey in ministry began in 1999 at Church of the Living Christ in Loysville, PA, where he served as Associate and Youth Pastor for 17 years.

In 2017, he became the Family and Care Pastor at Mountain View Community Church in Frederick, MD. His leadership and compassion left a lasting impact on the community.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Church of the Living Christ in Loysville, with visitation starting at 1 p.m.
