Diane Zuck Suffers Serious Injuries in Missouri Car Accident, Fundraiser Launched for Her Recovery

Laurys Station, Pennsylvania – Diane Zuck, a passionate admirer of Missouri Fox Trotters, is recovering after a tragic car accident on September 7, 2024. The accident occurred in Missouri while Diane was finishing a vacation centered around the Fox Trotter show and celebration. A head-on collision with another vehicle left her with severe injuries, including bilateral fractured femurs, multiple broken ribs, and a fractured sternum.

Diane’s accident happened when another car crossed the center line and hit her vehicle. After the initial impact, her car spun and crashed into a tree. Both Diane and a dear friend who accompanied her were airlifted to separate hospitals in Springfield, Missouri.

Diane faces a long road to recovery, with several weeks expected in rehabilitation far from her home in Pennsylvania. Due to the extent of her injuries, she will be unable to work for an extended period, leaving her without income. Fortunately, her animals are being cared for by friends, and members of the Missouri Fox Trot Horse Breeders Association have stepped in to support her, providing essentials such as toiletries and clothing.

In an effort to help Diane during this challenging time, a fundraiser has been organized by Bliss Meisner, a friend of Diane’s from Laurys Station. As of today, $470 has been raised from six donations towards the $10,000 goal. Contributions have come from kind-hearted individuals, including Kelsey Boehmer, Janet Burquest, Alaina Beck, Elizabeth Snyder, and Dorothy Fritz.

Bliss Meisner shared her hope that the community will rally around Diane to help her maintain stability during her recovery. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who has already donated and is encouraging further support to help Diane rebuild her life after this tragic event.

Those wishing to help can contribute to the ongoing fundraiser organized by Bliss Meisner to ensure Diane receives the assistance she needs once she is discharged from rehab and returned to Pennsylvania.
