Daleville Community Mourns the Loss of Christy Gail, Family Seeks Support for Funeral Expenses

Daleville, Indiana – The community is rallying to support the family of Christy Gail, a beloved nurse, who passed away recently. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by her aunt, Kathy Yattaw, to help cover the funeral and hospital expenses.

Christy was well-known for her dedication to nursing and the care she provided to her patients. Her co-workers have praised her as one of the kindest and most compassionate nurses they had ever worked with.

As of today, Thursday, September 12, 2024, the fundraiser has raised $275 of its $8,000 goal, with donations from friends, family, and anonymous supporters. Contributors include Gina Stevens, who donated $50, Peggy Monday and Marla Monday, who each gave $100, and an anonymous donor contributing $25.

Kathy Yattaw described Christy as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, deeply cherished by all who knew her. She expressed the family’s gratitude for any assistance and asked for prayers for everyone grieving the loss of Christy.

The family continues to seek donations through the GoFundMe page to help cover the costs of Christy’s funeral.
