Community Rallies to Support Dorothy and Kelly Rines Following Serious Car Accident in Blue Bell, PA

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania – Dorothy and Kelly Rines, beloved members of their community, are facing significant medical and financial challenges following a devastating car accident on September 13, 2024.

Dorothy Rines, a dedicated ER and trauma nurse at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, suffered severe injuries including a broken leg, fractured sternum, and broken vertebrae. Her partner, Kelly Rines, a grounds crew member for the Upper Dublin School District and a volunteer firefighter, broke both legs in the accident.

The couple’s recovery will be extensive, requiring significant rehabilitation and leading to uncertainty regarding their ability to work. The Rines family, including their children Shannon and Matthew, is deeply affected by this ordeal.

A fundraiser organized by Monica Colicino has so far raised $8,410 of the $20,000 goal to support the Rines family. Contributions will aid in covering medical expenses and provide income replacement during their recovery.

Community support has been overwhelming, with many expressing their well-wishes and donations through the fundraiser. Every donation is a crucial step in helping the Rines family navigate this challenging time.
