Community Mourns the Passing of Edwin Alan Kettle, Beloved Member and Philanthropist

Lach Dennis, England – The community is mourning the loss of Edwin Alan Kettle, who passed away recently, leaving a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him. Alan, as he was affectionately called, was celebrated for his generosity, dedication, and commitment to helping others. His impact on the community was profound, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Alan’s funeral is scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Birches Crematorium in Lach Dennis. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join a celebration of his life at the Winsford Conservative Club on Ways Green. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Luke’s Hospice, a cause dear to Alan’s heart. Contributions can be made during the service or online.

The community has been expressing their condolences and sharing memories of Alan online. His family has created an online page where people can leave messages of sympathy and share their tributes. Maps and directions to both the crematorium and the club are also provided on the page for those attending the services.

Several people have expressed their sorrow and support on social media. Dave Kettle announced the news of his father’s passing, saying, “It is with great sadness that as a family we are having to announce our Dad’s passing.” The post has since garnered numerous condolences and messages of support.
