Commodore Rosauro Arnel Gonzales, Outstanding Alumnus and Military Leader, Passes Away at 70

Commodore Rosauro Arnel Gonzales, a distinguished military officer and Outstanding Alumnus Awardee of his high school batch (HS Batch 1973), passed away on September 14, 2024. Gonzales was 70 years old at the time of his death, and his passing has left a profound impact on his colleagues, friends, and loved ones.

His body lies in state at the Libingan ng mga Bayani Mortuary in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, a resting place reserved for the country’s heroes and soldiers. As a high-ranking officer and respected figure in the community, his legacy will be remembered for his service to both his country and humanity.

Social media has been flooded with messages of sympathy and support for his family. Gloria Ocol Labuanan expressed, “Our sincere condolences and sympathy to our batchmate… Commodore Rosauro Arnel Gonzales… May his soul rest in peace.” Similarly, Arturo Tuy shared, “A soldier never dies, they just fade away.
