Citrus Heights Resident Jason Damron Passes Away After Battle with Adrenal Cancer, Fundraiser Launched to Support Family

Citrus Heights, California – Jason Damron tragically passed away on September 7th, 2024, after a brief but intense battle with stage four adrenal cancer. Jason’s diagnosis came just a few weeks before his untimely passing, leaving his family and community in shock.

Jason is survived by his wife, Jennie Damron, and their daughter Emily. His sister-in-law, Karissa Lucas, has organized a fundraiser to help the family with funeral expenses and ongoing bills as they navigate this difficult time. The fundraiser aims to raise $10,000, with $550 already contributed by five donors as of today.

Karissa Lucas shared her heartfelt message on the fundraising page, expressing her gratitude for any support during this challenging period. "Any help would be appreciated for funeral and some bills to cover until my sister can find work," she wrote, thanking those who have taken the time to contribute.

Among the donors, William Helm contributed $200, while Bill and Nancy Cullifer, Katharine Cullifer, Michelle Weeks, and Debra Cullifer each made generous donations.

The community is coming together to support Jennie and Emily as they cope with the loss of Jason, and the family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support.
