Christopher Moreno Missing from Southern Pines, NC – Family and Friends Desperately Seeking Help

Southern Pines, North Carolina – Christopher Moreno, a resident of Southern Pines, has been reported missing after he was last seen near S Ashe Street yesterday morning. According to reports, Christopher was spotted around 10:10 AM in the woods near the Elks Lodge Golf Course but has not been seen since.

Christopher’s disappearance is highly concerning, as he left home without his phone, wallet, keys, or shoes, which is completely out of character. His family has expressed deep worry, particularly due to his recent mental health struggles. They fear he may be in distress and are urgently asking the community for help.

Christopher is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 195 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and grey shorts. Family, friends, and local authorities, including military personnel, have been actively searching for him. The family urges anyone who sees Christopher to contact the Southern Pines Police Department rather than approaching him, as this could cause him to retreat further into the woods.

Several people have taken to Facebook to express their concern and offer support. Carmen Drake Owens posted, “Christopher’s family could use some help. Here is a gofund if u would like to contribute.” Another user, Kaylin Cahill, shared, “Many of you have reached out and asked how you can support Isabel Moreno and her family during this difficult time. If you’d like to donate, anything is appreciated. Please give them some privacy at this time as they deal with their grief.”

The community remains on high alert as they continue their search efforts.
