Charles Franklin Maynard, affectionately known as Charlie, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 6, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held in his honor over the past weekend, as shared by Gregory Borowski on social media. Charlie’s passing has deeply affected his family, including his wife Nancy, brother Bobby, his daughter Gabrielle, and stepdaughter Amy, along with many friends who remembered him as a kind and unforgettable individual.
Gregory Borowski, a friend of Charlie’s, reflected on their relationship, expressing that despite meeting Charlie under unconventional circumstances, the two became not only friends but family. “If you met Charlie, you probably wouldn’t forget him. Big Sugar was a Good Man," Borowski stated in his heartfelt post, capturing the essence of Charlie’s personality and the impact he had on those around him.
