Catskill, New York – Charity Hogan and her husband Craig Sutherland were involved in a devastating motorcycle accident on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, after a drunk driver ran a stop sign and collided with them while they were traveling on Craig’s Harley. The driver faces multiple charges related to the incident.
Charity and Craig sustained severe injuries; Charity lost a leg and suffered a broken pelvis, while Craig faced the loss of a leg, internal organ damage, and ongoing medical complications. Craig remains in critical condition at Albany Medical Center, with his situation described as "day-to-day."
A GoFundMe campaign, organized by Randy Helmle, Charity’s uncle, has been set up to support their mounting medical expenses. The campaign has raised $500 of its $40,000 goal. Helmle emphasizes the critical need for funds to cover the significant medical bills and ongoing recovery costs.
