Carlos Wills of Lebanon, Tennessee, Dies After Tragic Shooting in Clarksville

Lebanon, Tennessee – Carlos LaGerald Wills, an 18-year-old resident of Lebanon, TN, passed away following a tragic shooting in Clarksville. The incident occurred on September 10th, 2024, when the Clarksville Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the Ash Ridge Drive area at around 12:30 a.m.

Carlos Wills was found with a gunshot wound and was quickly airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Despite medical efforts, he was placed on life support and, tragically, succumbed to his injuries.

Carlos Wills’ death has left his family and the local community grieving. The Clarksville Police Department launched an immediate investigation, leading to the arrest of 20-year-old Za’Kwon Jaterrion Holliday, who was apprehended later that evening in Nashville. Holliday is now facing a homicide charge in connection to the shooting.

The investigation continues, with authorities seeking additional information from 19-year-old Davontay Tyrek Spencer, who was present at the scene. Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the Clarksville Police Department.
