The incident has left the DelaPaz family in a challenging situation, as Carlos, who was the primary breadwinner and a dedicated father to four children, now requires multiple surgeries and a prolonged hospital stay.
Carlos, known for his selflessness and dedication, stepped into the role of a father figure from a young age, helping his mother raise himself and his five siblings. As an adult, he continued this legacy by caring for his own family, including two children who have cerebral palsy and require constant care.
In the wake of this tragedy, a GoFundMe fundraiser organized by Bryan Sanchez has been set up to support the family with medical and home-related expenses. The fundraiser, titled "Help the DelaPaz family in this time of tragedy," has so far raised $2,150 out of its $20,000 goal, with 33 donations contributed.
