Carlo ‘Kingston’ Dorelli, 11, Arrested After Making Threats to Commit a School Shooting in Port Orange, Florida

Port Orange, Florida – Carlo ‘Kingston’ Dorelli, an 11-year-old student at Creekside Middle School, has been arrested by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office after making written threats to carry out a mass shooting at his school or Silver Sands Middle School.

Dorelli reportedly created a list of targets, which he later claimed was meant as a joke. However, deputies from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office took the matter seriously, recovering several airsoft rifles, pistols, fake ammunition, knives, and swords that Dorelli had shown off to other students in a video.

For these actions, Dorelli has been charged with a felony for making a written threat of a mass shooting.

The incident has sparked concern within the community, with some individuals voicing their thoughts on social media.

Monica Delgado shared, "But what is this poor child going through in his home to have this dark, heavy heart? Truly sad… People of God, lift this poor child up in prayer, releasing him from the evil one’s grip on him."

Cassondra Duran commented, "This kid was probably bullied… Schools do not enforce anything. Why blame the home?"

Krystal Latrell-Calderon Hall added, "They should all be exposed. Unfortunate that they’re children too, but we don’t need to protect children who are committing these crimes."

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, and more information is expected to be released in the coming days.
