Della Carpenter Schlappich, an esteemed member of the Union County community, has passed away at the age of 86. Schlappich, who was born on April 19, 1938, in Union County, NC, died on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ray Schlappich, and several family members.
