Beloved Science and Math Educator Carl Albert Passes Away Peacefully at Age 91

Carl Albert, a cherished science and math educator, passed away at the age of 91. Born in 1933, Mr. Albert dedicated much of his life to education, beginning his teaching career in 1963 at Bishop Fallon, where he nurtured the minds of countless students. After Bishop Fallon’s closure, he continued his teaching journey at Bishop Timon until his retirement.

Even in retirement, Mr. Albert’s passion for education remained unwavering. He volunteered as a tutor at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart (SHA), where he was beloved for his kindness and devotion to helping students succeed. Known for his gentle nature and love of learning, Mr. Albert once remarked about SHA, "There’s something very special happening in this school," reflecting his deep connection to the institution.

Carl Albert chose not to have a wake or funeral service, requesting instead a quiet remembrance. His presence is deeply missed by those who knew him.

Sara Goodman Wargo, reflecting on his legacy, wrote, "Such a kind soul. He will be missed."

Carl Albert leaves behind a legacy of compassion, knowledge, and a lasting impact on the students and communities he served.
