John Eger, a loving husband and devoted family man, has passed away after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. His wife, Kathy Strong, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, expressing her sorrow and gratitude for the support she has received during this difficult time.
Eger’s passing marks the end of a long struggle with the disease, which had taken a heavy toll on both his body and mind. According to Kathy, John spent his final days peacefully, surrounded by love and receiving excellent care from Caleo Bay Memory Care and JFK Hospital. She also extended her special thanks to Dr. Perry Schall and Dr. Neal Hermanowicz, who helped guide her through the difficult last months of John’s illness.
"John was generous and loved his family without limits," Kathy wrote, adding that he was now free from pain and anguish. The outpouring of love and condolences from friends and family reflects the deep impact John had on those around him.
