Jim Frank James Hollands, a cherished member of the Hanover and Durham communities, has passed away at the age of 81. Hollands died on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton.
He was a devoted husband to Catherine Hollands (née Watson) for 58 years and a loving father to Chris and Rob Hollands. Hollands was also a revered grandfather to several grandchildren and had numerous siblings and extended family members.
The community has shared an outpouring of sympathy following his passing. Sharon Becker commented, “Sincere sympathy Cathy & family,” while Linda Ferguson Eccles added, “OUR SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY.” Other tributes echoed similar sentiments of sorrow and support.
Cremation will occur, with interment at the Durham Cemetery Columbarium. The family requests memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter or Grey County 4-H as expressions of sympathy.
Jim Frank James Hollands will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his dedication and kindness.
