Beloved Family Man Wally Cox Passes Away at Age 75, Leaving a Legacy of Love and Memory

Wally Cox, a cherished family man and friend, has passed away suddenly at the age of 75. Cox, who is now reunited with his beloved wife Mary, his parents, and other loved ones, was deeply mourned by his family and friends.

The announcement was made by Debbie Bennett Independent Funeral Directors, detailing that Cox will be resting at home starting Saturday, September 14. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, September 19, at 12 noon at St. Michael’s Church, West Derby Road, followed by cremation at Anfield Crematorium.

Cox is remembered fondly as a devoted father to Phil, Pat, and Julie, a beloved grandad to Dylan, Lois, Cory, and Olivia, and a great-grandad to Ava, Sofia, and Luca. He was also a dear brother and a much-loved friend to many, including his best friend Ozark.

Condolences have been expressed on social media, with Lisa Mcloughlin commenting, "Rest easy Wally, reunited with Mary now x sympathy to all the family," and Karyn Somerville stating, "Thinking of all the Family and Friends at this very sad time xx."
