Ilyas Khan, a respected member of the Bhanakha community, has passed away in Kashmir. Khan, who was the beloved brother of Zahid Khan and Tahir Khan, as well as the father-in-law of Saeed Khan, died on September 15, 2024. The exact time of death has not been disclosed.
His passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences from the community. Syed Arshid Hussain expressed his sorrow, stating, “God may shower His blessings on the departed soul and give courage and strength to all family members to endure this huge loss.” Mushtaq Ahmed praised Khan’s character, describing him as a “great person, great teacher, and kind and humble personality.”
The family is holding Fatah Khawani and condolence gatherings at JK Resource Center and Faizan E Madiana from 5pm to 7pm today.
