Angie McGee Faces Tragic Accident on Highway 109, Fundraiser Launched to Aid Her Recovery in Thomasville, NC

Thomasville, NC – A devastating car accident on August 29th left Angie McGee, a beloved client of The Barking Lounge LLC, with severe injuries and a heavy heart. While driving on Highway 109, Angie was hit head-on, resulting in significant physical trauma and the heartbreaking loss of her three cherished pets, Lilly, Angeline, and Dippity.

Angie is currently at Baptist Hospital, battling through a series of major injuries. She suffered two broken legs, vertebrae fractures in her cervical and lumbar spine, along with an abdominal injury and other complications. Her recovery process will involve extensive rehabilitation, and she will soon be moved to a skilled nursing facility where she hopes to regain her ability to walk.

In addition to her physical recovery, Angie is facing financial hardship. To support her, a GoFundMe fundraiser, organized by Sherry Rabon, has been set up to help cover her rent and ensure she has a home to return to after rehab. So far, the campaign has raised $60 out of its $5,000 goal, with two donations from Cindy Payne and Brad Johnson.

Angie’s friends and supporters are asking the community to help in any way they can, whether through donations or prayers. Cards and well-wishes can also be sent to 40 Kirk St, Thomasville, NC 27360, where Sherry Rabon will ensure Angie receives them during her recovery.

As Angie faces a long road to recovery, her community hopes to rally together to support her in this difficult time.
