26-Year-Old Elvis Emanuel Cruz Alcívar Critically Injured in Tragic Motorcycle Accident in Buena Fe, Ecuador

Buena Fe, Ecuador – Elvis Emanuel Cruz Alcívar, a 26-year-old resident of Buena Fe, Ecuador, is fighting for his life after suffering a severe motorcycle accident on Monday, September 16. The accident occurred while Elvis, who works as a food delivery driver, was waiting at a green traffic light after completing a delivery.

A speeding car hit Elvis violently, dragging him over two blocks before the driver finally braked, causing Elvis to fall and suffer serious head injuries. The driver fled the scene without stopping, leaving Elvis critically injured.

Elvis was rushed to a clinic two hours away from his home, where he is currently in intensive care. He has already undergone surgery, but his condition remains critical as doctors wait for the pressure in his brain to decrease before attempting another operation. Medical expenses have been overwhelming for his family, with a night in the intensive care unit costing around $2,500.

Elvis’s family is not only devastated by his condition but also facing a significant financial burden due to the lack of medical facilities in their village. As a result, they had to transport him to a distant clinic for urgent care.

A fundraiser organized by Coralia Males is calling for the public’s support to help cover the mounting medical costs. The campaign has raised $160 out of a $50,000 goal through three donations. Supporters are urged to contribute any amount to help Elvis and his family during this difficult time.

Contributions from friends and well-wishers, such as Belen Hedrick’s $100 donation and others, have brought a small amount of relief, but much more help is needed.

Elvis’s family and organizers are appealing for compassion and support, hoping that donations will offer a ray of hope for his recovery.
